Default Cricket breeding

Can anyone help me with cricket breeding please.
I have been breeding my crickets and they are hatching in the hundreds but they are all dieing in a few weeks,I have them in a large tub and add damp cotton wool ever few days for them to get water and add fresh veg every 3 days for them to eat but they dont seem to get past the micro stage.
1 or 2 are getting a little larger but die soon after.
Any help would be good.

Try putting in a substrate of moist potting compost in their container. Also see if you can keep them a bit warmer than you would the adults. You are bound to lose a few and that is why they lay so many eggs but if you try these things then hopefully you will keep more of them alive...good luck mate.

Forgot to say that placing fish food flakes in with them gets them growing faster and consequently they get over the small micro stage quicker..
