royal not interested

ive got a 1600g female royal and a 600g male royal

ive followed all the steps up to now and had no issues but now i have put them in together he just doesnt seem interested.

could it be that he is intimidated by her size???

any ideas would be great cos id love to get these two bred this year

My beardies did something similar. The female was bigger than the male and he avoided her like the plague. I'm no expert on breeding but I'd imagine it's the same thing.

They dont always take straight away. Its still quite early in the season. Use a 3 days on, 3 days off method and see how you get on

little bit annoyed cos the person i got him off said it was defo a male and that she had probed him already.....oh well
