What's your recommendations for breeding with a candy cane, besides another candy cane of course.

nothing- its a selectively bred morph, the only thing you can breed to to get anything is another amel, or preferably a candycane amel. outcrossing to a normal amel or other morph will mean some selective breeding is lost. you might end up with slightly lighter amels, or slightly lighter looking normals etc but theres no guarantee theyll be anything unusual. or you can breed to any morph to simply produce hets.

I was wondering what the physical signs would be if any, if I bred to an amel het caramel that is showing a very lot of yellow. I was wondering if the yellow might be highly visible. But I suppose the only way to find out would be to go ahead and breed them.
Still there's plenty of time until spring to locate a male candy cane.
