Default Urgent help with incubator!

Please help
Woke up to the polybox fan incubator going beserk!
The light is going on and off really fast (this gives the heat)constantly as in each second (literally) its alternating therefore you can't control it.
Has the thermostat packed up? Meanwhile where can I put my corn eggs?

Sound similar to an incubator I once used? Is the temp still constant? And is it a small Halogen bulb your using? Perhaps it's on it's way out, get a new bulb soon as, thats all I can suggest, is the fan running correctly?

Hope that was of any use to you.

Karl.

Unsure of the type of stat as it came with it (its being lent to me)
I turned it off for a few hours and its seems to be ok now and maintaining heat ok (I used the beardie viv cooler end to keep eggs warm in the meantime)but I will get another light. Yup its a halogen teeny weeny bulb and the fan seems ok.x

I hate the stress of incubators playing up
Hope it's ok now though

This is why incubators should be as simple as possible. Less to go wrong and less to worry about. If you wan't reliable you can build a poly box incubator yourself very cheaply
