Default Male Beardie

I have a male beardie that i am trying to breed with my female but he just doesn't seem to be performing, i was wondering whether anyone could suggest why?
He is in fantastic condition 704g, Kept at 108c, UV was replaced 3 weeks ago, Arcadia 12%, fed regularly, housed on his own in a 4x2x2 viv, bathed twice a week and healthy!
The female is kept in the same conditions in a seperate tank, she weighs 826g!
Any ideas?

Are they showing any signs at all of being interested in one another?

At 704g and 826g they're well over the border of "obese" - some beardies seem to cope ok with being that overweight, but others do seem to suffer from fertility issues once they're allowed to get to that size...

Yea showing signs, the male grabs the female, thrashes around and then just lets go, they are quite big beardies, both just under 24", don't look/seem overweight, when last vet checked (december 09) i was told they are ideal weights for their size, the female was painfully thin when i bought her!
Any suggestions?

If they're showing signs of breeding then he may just need more time - you'll have to see how they go. Did you brumate him this year? If not, then it might be worth thinking about for next winter if you don't get any joy from them this year.
