Default Thought it was going to plan..carpets

ok so everything was going to plan...I think....they were mating like mad....finally after month or so they stopped.....she went off food.....massive swelling nobody could miss.....shed nicely....lying coiled on hot spot....

came down this morning to find them locked???????

he went off food couple weeks ago also. is this normal to be mating after all this?

Read on another forum that snakes can sometimes do this, that they lock even after ovulation, basically that your 'wee' girl is a sl*t!! lol
Still, I am sure someone with more breeding experience will be able to say for sure xxx

Having exactly the same problem with my axanthic Elaine..makes you wonder whats going on..just checked on her this morning she is a beautiful silver..normaly more grey, funny thing was she was in blue on Sunday night, come Tuesday morning she had shed..its a mystery..hope yours goes on to lay, as far as mine are concerned I'm sitting on the bench
