Do royals put on weight when they have stopped feeding, if they are gravid?

depends sometimes they do sometimes they don;t
the female will use her own nutrition when she stops feeding, so although eggs are growing she'll be losing weight so might balance itself out
two of my females eat right up until the week they lay so they keep gaining weight all the way through

Just wondered if this would be a way of telling if she was gravid.

She shed about three weeks ago, five weeks after her previous shed,which I thought was a bit soon,so I thought that may have been a pre-ovulation shed.
she has also has just stopped eating, but as this is my first time breeding, and I dont know how to check for folicules and would probably miss any ovulation, thought weight gain may be another way of checking.

She has been locked a few times with my male so will have to keep my fingers crossed
