How Much Does it Cost to Breed Bearded Dragons? - Hades Dragons UK

Worth having a read of the above. I'm loathe to encourage anyone to breed bearded dragons really, because there are billions of them about, last year I heard some people were actually GIVING them away because they couldn't sell them. If you've got exotic, fancy colourations or mutations like leatherbacks, they will be easy to shift probably, but your average baby beardie isn't. Its even hard to find homes for leopard geckos at the mo and they have small amounts of babies compared to beardies.

i agree why not spend ur time and money
buying differnt reptiles
its much more interesting learning about all the differnt species
plus u get i nice collection
and maybe later on you can decide for your self
wich you would feel confident about breeding
any way good luck with what ever you choose

Plus it's not as easy as it seems to breed.
You have a multitude of things to prepare for.
Housing of 20-25 baby beardies - Another viv and heat-lamp, dimmer stat and UVB
Food costs for the babies - They eat a LOT
The ability to split the young if any start being nippy towards the others - It happens and babies with toes/tails missing can be even harder to find homes for.
Potential vet bills - An egg-bound beardie wont be cheap

Plus a multitude of other unknown variables, it's not something that should be taken lightly and serious thought and consideration should go into it before breeding any reptiles.
