Ok so I've looked through the home incubation thread and I've searched the internet yet I'm still confused lol anyway...

I was just wondering how is it meant to be set up...so far my brother has set up a polybox prodded some stick through the bottom for the boxes to go on with the heat mat underneath, but how warm should it be inside the heat mat says its like 30c/86f but box doesnt feel that warm inside =/

Oh and where is the ideal place to put the polybox?

Heatmats don't heat the air hardly at all. They heat the solid objects that the infra-red rays they give out hit.
You need a digital thermometer. Place the probe inside one of the egg boxes on top of the substrate so that you are measuring the temperature that the eggs will actually be. Adjust the temperature with your thermostat.
