Default Confused, Stressed and Worried.... Help for a first time breeder please?

Hi RFUK

Slightly confused here and i need abit of help and advice
Roughly 6-7 weeks ago i baught a breeding pair of Corksnakes
And about 2 weeks ago i introduced them for breeding
And just yesterday i sepertated them again and while i was doing that i noticed the female had gotten alot bigger and she was swelling up by the vent... so i put her her back in her enclosure along with a lay box and to my surprise about 2-3 hours ago i discovered an 'Egg' but to my little knowledge of eggs and breeding i thaught it to be a 'Slug' (I'll put a picture of it below) Now.... when i got them they were in a storage box together and had been over night according to the guy i baught them off..... could they of "Done the buisness" then? i dont know.... its been 3 hours since she layed it and i there's no sign of any more eggs yet.... am i just stressing over nothing because its my first time? im unsure.... someone save me fromm this stress?

The egg she has laid so far is infertile (a slug) and she may well have more so the best thing to do is offer her a small mouse and a lay box and leave her alone. If you pick her up and let her slide back into her box over your hand you might be able to feel more eggs.
This egg was laid too soon after mating to be from this mating.A female can lay infertile eggs at any time so if she was mated last year she will just carry on. It maybe you have left it a bit late to put them together. It happened to me last week just a day after taking the male out but I usually put them together in Feb and this year they weren't cooled.
