Default temp and humidity for beardy eggs

my two beardys have layed 44 eggs between them in the last two days, ive had a incubator built for me by my local reptile shop. the temp is set at 82 in the incubator, i have put all my eggs in a substrate of jungle bedding , ive made this damp but not soaking wet. two of the boxes have condensation on the sides but not on the lids the other box has no sign of condensation. is this ok? also when my central heating is on temp in viv rises to around 85 should i turn radiator off in the room my incubator is in? sorry for all the questions

Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to thier level then beat you with experiance

In Africa, every morning a gazelle awakens knowing that it must outrun the fast lion if it wants to stay alive.
Every morning a lion wakes up knowing that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death.
It makes no difference whether you are a lion or a gazelle - when the sun comes up, you better be running

82-85 fluxuation is fine. are you using a digital thermometre?

What you've described seems absolutely fine, just remember to try not to wet the eggs and remove any that go bad.

the thermometre im using is exotera (not digital) i have three in the incubator they all registering 82 ( 85 if my central heating is on,) but ive now turned the radiator off in the room incubator is in. The thermometres are in the incubator, not in the boxs with the eggs. Each box of eggs has 3 holes at the top of each end. will i have to mist the boxed at any time to keep humidity? or will humidity stay within the boxes coz the lids are on.If i do have to mist at any point whats the best way of doing so without geting eggs wet.

I put some water in with them, one in a tub to keep a little humidity and a spray bottle also so your using the correct temp water on the eggs.

You dont need the thermomotre in with the babies, in the incubator is fine.

Keep the substrate damp, but not wet. I checked on them every couple of days, and kept it moist which I had to do around every 7 days. Id lightly spray the bottle quite close to the substrate around the eggs, keeping about 1cm away from them.

Hope that helps, ask anything else you like

They can sometimes take on a brown tinge, but that isn't to say they wont survive.

The eggs usually collapse/deflate when they go bad, in which case they should be removed Just see how they go for now.
