i think all rehome should come with a small fee, as its a shame now a days but u just cant tell if homes r genuine as there is alot of dishonest people out there
thank you mrs dirtydozen I have turned a new leaf i have not taken on any more animals apart from the homeless cat that was ill, i have been offered another dog and said no as it wouldnt be fair on the dog

people do make mistakes and i have made plenty but there you go
i admit some people offer good homes to free to good home pets, but it still atracts certain people
and if there is a rehoming fee they aint normally so fast to put their hands in their pockets

Its not about the money though what it comes down to is taking something on, on a whim and then realising that you shouldn't because you cannot provide. However a second argeument in this would be a lot of people trade and swap all the time a lot of reptiles go through one or more homes before they die it depends where you stand with this, some people dont see anything wrong with trading some people think that a pet is for life!

LOL JUST REALISED WHO YOU ARE !
maybe its the same situation for the people that got the animal for free...they cant afford them anymore etc...i never said you got animals for free to make money, but you have sold a hell of a lot of animals for no good reason, speaking the truth makes me a muppet?

the people that came for her seemed really nice but they were just liers and used the poor dog to make money
If the intention was always to earn money from breeding, what difference would a £50 rehoming fee have made when they prob made well over a grand just in pups....non in the slightest. In this case, yes she should have been spayed, this is common practice when dogs are rehomed by proper rehoming centers and rescue homes but reptiles arent dogs and this isnt a viable option. As already mentioned, forums like this cause many animals to pass from owner to owner before they die but i dont see anyone screaming to have the classified section changed or closed. Its life when it comes to anything cheap and easily obtainable.

erm no but speaking out of your backside does!
I had good reason to rehome any animals I have rehomed and its been for their sake but im not going to justify myself to you as this thread was about animals free to good home and you decided to take a pop at me which to be honest just shows your immaturity

its a thread about animals and people taking them on without proper knowledge or realising expense that still comes with ftgh animals but there is always a few who try to make personal jibes at people and insulting people when they dont know the whole story

no rescues wanted her, phoned everywhere no one would take her not even staffy rescue. if she had of been spayed then these people wouldnt have took her but she wasnt our dog but we were the only people interested in her, the people that took her promised they would have her done but bred from her straight away, its a long story but they even said they took her 2 the vets n she had already been done next min they had pups for sale n made probably nearly 2k from the pups think she had 8 from what i can remember, n changed there story to we didnt take her 2 the vets coz we were scared she was chipped.

Wasnt a dig mate and for this exact reason. You never know the whole story. I was just trying to say there are things (usually) you can do to domestic everyday furry pets to lessen idiots getting hold of them for making a quick few quid but its not as simple with reptiles.
