I agree its very hard to rehome an animal to someone decent especially FTGH. I was extremely lucky when I advertised my Neices boyfriends Chi on here. I didnt actually say Free but as the perfect home came along there was no need to ask for a fee as the home was more important than any money. He was originally taken on as an emergency foster but he fitted in so well he actually got himself a first class home Thankyou Jen and Jonny How is the lil monster doing btw??

I dont have a view on the specific thread I agree with melinda and have no issue with her but I know in past shes made some mistakes.. however...

I think calling Luke a muppet for speaking his mind is playground mentality. and i would have thought an adult would not have bothered stopping that low..... I also noticed marinam agreed with him and noone called marinam out... seems odd.. or is that due to the fact its ok to pick on kids...

he is 12 or 13 i think.. a young lad... just ambling along ... and actually a few people agree with him here..

Telling him to run along due to the fact you disagree with him is actually not really helpful... its condescending and and lacking in maturity

anyway.. i dont like or dislike anyone specifically more than others in this thread... melinda maybe has turned over a new leaf.. but everyone has their opinion and this forum is not for us adults to boss kids around then act MORE immature than them and think thats cool just because we are adults..

it strikes of a ... do as I say not as I do attitude whcih lacks maturity therefore makes the adult look childish

Hey ho...

As a mum of a daughter whos near Lukes age I would hope if she said or did things on a forum that were a little cheeky or above her station the adults would deal with her in a way that wasnt like this..

sorry if i have offendd anyone again its JUST my opinion not sure if you agree or disagree and will also tell me to run along

(ps im 36 if that makes any difference.. and act like a kid most of the time.. and quite like the thrill of being told off...)

I have in the past put up adverts for reptiles and put a price on them just to keep a certain sort of person away and disuade them from emailling and then found the right person and informed them the reptile is actually free.

That is the problem" a certain kind of person" it is so hard to know which these people are as so many are liars. Yes I agree that if you ask a price you can always drop it if you feel the home is right

Is there not one thread on here where we can just have a debate without it turning into a he said /she said slanging match

no you have not offended me but for someone who dont have an problem with me made a comment on my behaviour being childish?

this isnt a post about me!

now run along

Marina
yeah thats cool at least you know then that that person would be prepared to pay for the pet and i would feel happier to let a pet go to that person

I dont "know" the people i have sold to. I just spend a lot of time questioning them and finding out what they know etc etc and then inform then that the reptile is free.

omg this threads gone mad, i dont know whats going on now lol

but yer mojo is still brilliant iv found out about the microchip incase he dose have one n the old owner wants him back as that will just break my heart, but anyway if he does have a chip n he has been reported missin or stolen then the old owners will get contacted but if he has one n has not been reported missin or stolen then the old owners ant even contacted n its £15 to change him straight over into my name.

he is booked in at the vets next week when jonny is off work as jake will have to come also as he wont be without his mojo now n i dont fanci taking 2 dogs n a baby 2 the vets by myself lol so jonny will have to help.

i ask lisa what rehoming fee she wanted but she didnt want anythink as i would have gladly paid for this little guy coz hes great but the money that we would have paided for him if lisa did want anythin will go towards his vet check up and his balls off now lol and also microchipping either changing it over if he has one or getting him chipped if he dosnt.

so yes i still agree with a rehome fee as i would have gladly paided for him.

iv told my friends iv got him n the first thing that came out of there mouths was, r u breedin him chi are worth loads a money, (some of my friends arnt into animals n think im mad for having all i have) so if someone like that had got him he would have become a stud dog but there is no way i would breed him n it didnt even cross my mind he is our baby n 101% our pet the only thing il be using him for is lots and lots of cuddles n love
