I have to say i have just read this whole thread and find it rather unfortunate that perryspets has been hounded like this, from what I can see various people have either agreed to sell to him and pulled out or not liked the offer that he has made for their animals. If someone is buying a bulk load of animals from you be prepared to drop your prices, I was! I sold him 8 western hognoses for which I requested a price, he made me an alternative offer which I was happy with so we agreed the deal, he said his courier would collect from me on the Thursday or Friday which was difficult as I was at work but after checking with my boss I arranged for them to be collected from me at work, I spoke with Brian several times prior to the collection and he did ask if I would be willing to accept part of the payment in Euros which I declined, he had no issue with this and in fact I received my payment in full in sterling. The courier rang me to confirm my work address on the Thursday and said he was about 10 mins away, sure enough he turned up about 10 mins later and collected the snakes having paid me in cash.

I feel that this deal was extremely well organised and will happily deal with Brian again as I find it a lot easier to sell my last few babies in a bulk deal for a little less rather than hold out fo rmore money and have to keep feeding them at my cost! On the other side of this I am selling on babies I have produced, not pets which I do not want anymore and as such I will happily sell them in to the trade.

Sorry for the length of this reply but I felt this needed to be said.

as far as i can see Perrypets is not the time waster here!!!

he was coming to collect my animal but since some other members have a issue it doesn't look like it will happen now!! so everyone who has been bad mouthing Brian you are the only time wasters i can see

Where are you coming from, i held my boas for him, he told me also that it would be Thursday or Friday, which i agreed, i realised he was coming from Ireland, so i took the time off of work to make it easier for him, only to receive a message saying it was too late as i had not let him know. I ok'd the collection through pm with him, and thought it was all set to go ahead. I am not the only one he has messed around, i have received loads of Pm's from people on here who are pissed off with him, but don't want to come out publicly to say, just in case one day he shows up. It looks as though he will only collect from certain people, regardless of what has been said/agreed!

As for the money side of things, i knocked off £50 quid for him, as he said he would collect the coming week, and i have never complained about the bargaining of things!

If he is throwing his toys out of the pram because people are expressing there concerns, then thats down to him, not us!

3 WEEKS I HELD ONTO THE ANIMALS FOR!!!
It wasnt just a few snakes it was over £1000's worth of animals which were ordered in and then I had to feed at my own cost! Lizards cost more to feed than snakes as they need daily food as you will all know. I knocked money off for him. Quite a bit at that.

He wanted to change his order with me after I had already got the animals in and to be quite frank I find that bang out of order as I was one of the first people to deal with him and got fucked off basically.

On a previous thread I defended him before he dropped me in it as I felt he was a lovely bloke. So dont come this crap of "oh your hounding him" because quite frankly its bull. NO one is hounding him. Everyone is syaing their experience whether it be good or bad.

He was really nice with me as I was with him, we never exchanged any bad words and to this point still havent as far as Im concerned. I said exactly what happened between me and him how is telling the truth hounding?

Granted hes apologised on a post of here but how does that help me and my OH financially? Originally I got told "weather is bad" which it was so I thought fair enough. Then it was "the courier has let me down" and I thought yeah stuff happens. Then it was "cant pick up this week waiting for cheques to clear" well thats dandy considering other people got paid and he told me he had cash waiting for the order he placed with me. Then it was "I cant sell lizards can you take them back and get boas instead?" Yeeeeeah sure I can because Im sure if I went to the bloke I got everything off an went "exchange please?" that would go down a treat!

Ive managed to sell majority if the animals and made the money back what I paid for them BUT what happens to the food bill I had to fork out for?

Some of you are so up your own arses and do gooders you cant see that people have been messed around. If the shoe was on the other foot it would be different. And yes if he had collected what he said he was going to I would be defending him but seeing as that never happened I dont give a toss as others who got messed around will feel the same.

I dont dispute Brian was a nice bloke but at the end of the day if people have been messed around why shouldnt they share?

If he does try and pay in euros be ready with the up to date exchange rate, you never know it might be a swiz to get items even cheaper. But agree a deal done in one currency shouldnt be changed over. For example when I go to hamm show I dont expect to pay in pounds.
