Is it a secret ???
Why on earth do some people refuse to put a price on a thread ?? Is it a bloomin secret ?
If you want to sell something you need to have a price on it !!! I've just read a thread where 5 people asked a price, and after every enquiry the seller put "PM'd you", they're either doing it to get extra bumps other than the 1 every day allowed, or they just enjoy being all secret squirrel about it ! ggrrrrr - finished moaning now !

i know for a fact thats the reason in some cases..
someone was selling a crestie once and didnt put a price on.. i enquired they said wait till i see what happens.. next thing they sent me a Pm saying guess how much more i got for my female than the ones u were selling... i thought WTF.. i had sold females ( depending on age weight and morph)for 100/ 120/ 150 so i thought.. hmm obviously more then so i replied saying obviously lots more and you feel thats a GOOD thing you made people offer more and more till you bled the market.. they said well some many people wanted a female i ended up getting 240 and shes only 10 months.. i just thought you pathetic twit.. I think a fair price is a fair price.. you pay what you want.. fair enough but to gloat over it and not ask outright and start some kind of bidding war annoys me.. ive seen some ridiculous prices on here for animals.. but if people are prepared to pay them thats up to them.. personally you can tell sellers that milk it when something is hard to get like female cresties... some dont.. the only time i make exceptions in prices is when im selling to people i know very well... mates rates..  then they get a discount in what I know i could get if selling on forum etca price is a price... and id prefer to advertise it fairly and plainly in the public thread than force prices up auction stylee

Its as bad as when you have something up for sale and people tell you its over priced and that they could get it 20 quid cheaper down the road...............DO IT THEN! lol Dont preach to me about it. If you dont like the price, dont buy it! lol
I've had people do this to me so many times, and everytime, Ive sold the items for what I wanted, eventually. All it is, is people wanting something for nothing. Which is the same as trying to get the best price by being sneaky about it! grrr

I agree. there should be price, location and pic. If they say pm me for a price then they have obviously got one in mind so just bloody tell us.
Maybe its a secret society that not evrybody knows about, the 'keep the price a mystery' society....hmmmmmmm????????? lol

Yep annoys me. What also annoys me is when someone PM's a price to you then advertises the animal for more and then wants more from you even though they told you less the first time! But yeah, I don't understand why people wouldn't put a price if they know how much they are looking for.

people have asked me hypothetical prices for the animals i will be selling but don't yet have, i gave prices and then wrote them down so i would make sure i offered the same price to anyone else who asks and to remind me to advertise at that price so it's all fair.
