This is my reply from paypal (although tango has stated on his visitor messages that a refund has been issued)

Not a bad move really, he got some snakes that he knew he could sell for a profit. As long as he didn't lie to the owner saying the were going to a "forever home" then what is the problem? This is what shops do, they buy animals cheap and sell them on for a profit.
