I should imagine ssthisto is more than a bit annoyed that the chap actually stood there, watched him weigh the royals etc when they were his!

Yeah, something like that.... although I can't really blame him for not speaking up while he was stood there, seeing as he had two people looking like death and only half awake (and thus more likely to go Librarian-poo) grousing about how they were DEFINITELY a hell of a lot smaller than advertised.

I suppose the proximity of quite a lot of tools (courtesy of the half-finished vivarium in the front room) might have done something to engender silence too. Nobody wants a crazy half-awake lady grabbing a hammer. Especially not me, since I'd be likely to cut myself with it.

The little Yellowbelly girl has gone into shed, so she refused her last feed.
The little Fire female has eaten twice now - as soon as she's pooed I'll have to weigh her and find out how much two good solid meals has increased her weight by.

I'm sure the seller will now have a very empty account.
They will refund the money. Even if the account is empty. I had this with a pair of suspension forks. They had been serviced fully 2 weeks before I put them on Ebay. Described exactly and full photos of any scratches. They guy got them and said that they weren't as described and got a bike shop to say the same thing. The buyer sent me photo's of scratches and a dent that weren't on them before sending, yes they "might" have been damaged during posting but unlikely. PP wouldn't accept the service reciepts as proof that they were in full working order. They refunded the money to him with him saying that he would send me the forks back, which he didn't, even though there was no money in my account. So I ended up being out of pocket for a 6 month old pair of £450 suspension forks and also £290 in my paypal account.

This seller though is just taking the michael. Can you not arrange to meet halfway and do a full refund in person?

Well, I have just nipped up and weighed the Fire girl and the Yellowbelly girl.

Fire was 126 grams on the 8th of April. She was fed on the 9th and pooed; she was fed again on the 14th and has not yet pooed. Two feeds (plus an incipient poo) and she now weighs 161 grams.

Yellowbelly was 196 grams on the 8th of April. She was also fed on the 9th and has also pooed; she's gone into shed so I didn't push her to feed on the 14th. She now weighs 215 grams, an increase of nearly 20 grams in one feed.

How long were they in the country before you sold them to us, Craig?
How often had they been fed?
What exactly were you feeding them on?

How did you end up out of pocket?
If you account was empty where did the buyers payment go?

I was ripped off on a projector a while back.
It never arrived as it was never sent.
I got part refund due to low funds in sellers account.

They took the money out of my account leaving my account in the red. The guy then never sent me the forks back.
