Talking hi

i cant understand the point of lying just to sell it fast and make money.

better that the owner of the thread told all the people who are on here to stop them buying from him in the future.

I can understand the OPs upset and anger. BUT at the same time if you thought it was rare to get cb ones then that should have been enough to make you wonder. Personally i get all my animals checked out by my vet as soon as possiable if i dont no the person i am buying from.

Also even CB animals still get parasites, thats why its reconmened to have poo samples done every so often.

I do agree that it is wrong for him to sell a wc animal as a cb one, but alot of shops do this, such as tortoises being sold as cb when there cf and so on.

I am not defending this person for one minute, never even met them, but as you said the animal was very well when you saw it, thus meaning it would have also been well for the previous owner, so he never sold it knowing it was full of parasites.

you cant really have ago at him for not taking it the vets when you didnt either for 5 weeks until someone else advised you to go.

I agree he was wrong IF he did sell it as CB when it was WC, and maybe a sorry and some money towards it would be nice, but just because you expect it to be CB does not mean you can ignore worms and such.

But when an 'experienced' cham breeder tells you that it is fine and healthy, just a tad skinny, which is normal, it isn't really your fault you don't take it.

Ive got to be honest, i am saddened and dissapointed by the fact that this is happening so much on this forum.

In the last week i have seen at least 2 or 3 threads where the same sort of thing is happening. One user falsely advertising or selling an inferior product, low standards all over this forum.

I know i have not been a member here long and i also know that there are a lot of decent people and traders but im quickly losing confidence.

i really hope i dont see much more of this.

yer i know if i did have any doughts i should off but i had asked the man to is face was she and he replied no. He had 3 different species of chameleons which you then trust guy knows what he's on about. I noticed she was rather thin but again i queried him on it and he said no that what they like , again i toke is word for it , there not enough substantial caresheets available for senegals for me to think other than she was fine, this is why i toke his word for it.

But fair enough i stick hand up knowing i could taking her but not everyone like wildlife warrior and does believe people on this site are reputable people well i learn from this anyway

but what im pissed of fact got no remorse and is more concerned on making me look a idiot than admitting he could had it wrong. He wern't one that had run around yesterday **** heart broken due to fact the man didn't front up and tell me that he wernt 100 percent sure she CB.

Finally yer you don't have be WC have parasites but like i have said the vet informed me the damage had been well done before i had inherited her off wingsy so wether it was WC or CB problem still stemed from him

"but not everyones like wildlife warrior"

Hang on one minute. I anit blamed you or said it was your fault..you said could not be that good of a keeper or he would have got her checked out at the vets..so i just said you should have aswell.

I anit saying any of it is to do with you nor your keeping. I do agree and think your in the right actually. he was sold as the wrong gender, pretty skinny and poss WC.

I did also say he should have given you some money towards the vet bills and should have given you a sorry.

Reptile keeping used to be about the community and helping eachother to get our loved animals to thrive. What i was trying to say is dont trust every one you meet regaurdless of what you think as am sure you will and have found out that not everyone is honest.

Is this cham passed away or still alive...also what excalty damage has been done?? what parasites were found and what treatment did the vet suggest or action did he take?

the cham was sold on as it was sold to me. i was informed that it was cb from the person that i purchased it off.
that bloke had that cham for a long time and both me or him had no problems with it.

if you were to purchase a rep from most shops you would be lucky to get a week guarantee with the shops in my area.
