Hi Caz, I doubt the OP's want this thread going off topic so i'll just say that I thought the Torts in question were claimed to be something else by you but there was no proof either way... I guess tort classifications can be hard via pictures. I'll investigate the matter further with someone know knows, feel free to start a new thread about this is you feel you have to but lets keep this one on track.

I've been a member slightly longer than you, Meko. In that time I've barely cleared the 200 post mark... I'm obviously an attention whore who craves the validation of strangers patting me on the back in an online forum.

As soon as I saw Jonnyboy was involved I knew this was going to be dodgy.. I bought a stack from him for £150 inc delivery, it received smaller than agreed also was really messed up, poorly built.. it only had a bit of brown paper over it..

I never recieved a refund and this guy didn't get banned, also the RSPCA have came round before to check his own reptiles so something must be dodgy there...

I got a pm ages back, someone saw that I got scammed by him and they said they recently bought some of the beardies he had for sale for £15 each and I belive they were in a bad state, I think they said they died around a week or so after buying them from him and he never offered them a refund..

This whole matter sounds awful anything that involves exploiting animals for money or using poor health animals to con people actually the conning of people is incredibly mean and I hope the person involved is punished.

There are some well dodgy people involved with reptiles. I read numerous threads not so long ago about that Greyson chap who seemed to get away with conning a lot of people out of a lot of money by deliberately misrepresenting snakes. Perhaps on a bigger scale, but not dissimilar to this situation.

If he set up a courier service under a different alias, I'm sure we'd all run screaming. We'd certainly want to know about it in order to avoid him.

I don't see how this is any different. These people / this person done bad. Wouldn't want to deal with him. He clearly has no regard for animal welfare, so why would I want to put my animals in his care?

Thank you all involved for bothering to share what you know to help other people. I imagine it's taken a lot of time and effort on your part. If more people did this, I'm sure there would be fewer people conned out of large sums of money.

Shikari, there is nothing stopping John from posting on this thread. T-Bo has specifically said that John has access to Classifieds Chat (where this thread is located) so that he *can* respond to this should he choose to do so.

o right sorry i thought i read that he was banned a few pages ago so he cant sell/buy etc
