I tried phoning her awhile back to find out were Phred has gone and it was hung up on me as soon as i mentioned Phred but i had 3 numbers wrote down on a piece of paper without names next to them so wasnt sure id rung the right number but if someones got the wrong number you would tell them not hang up wouldnt you?

Even now i know nothing as to were he is and im quite worried about it now.

one thing that is quite disappointing to see is that Fixx posted her last activity details yesterday but if you look now it's not showing so it seems like she's set herself to invisible mode.

Well there's that as well.

I think I'm soft because I'd still like to help her out.
I think the people she owes have zero chance of getting their money.
I'm one of the lucky ones who she doesn't owe but I know that's no help to those she does.

I would still like to see her sort out the problems she has though.

She was in invisible mode yesterday too Meko, but with a few button clicks you can see when she was last active regardless. Emma did this to me the night before I was supposed to be delivering a Gambian Pouched Rat to her. I sent several PM's that evening, none were replied to though she was on line but in invisible mode. Then the next morning I got a PM saying her dog had been attacked and the money for the rat had been taken up with vet's bills, but she had an APH she would swap in p/x for the rat. I told her no cash, no rat.

Considering she wasnt' supposed to have the APH as she hadnt' paid for those either.

What a read

Emma has been what I consider a mate since I joined the forum and I adore her to bits.

That being said, I do wonder how she manages with the animals she has compared to hours in the day and money either from benefits or a minimum wage job @ 34 hours a week.

I am honest enough to admit that I was once in a situation where I kept getting more and more animals just becasue I could - I loved the feeling of having something new and the thought of "helping" animals. Having a hubby who would give me anything I wanted finaincially to make me happy didn't help at all.

My home ended up a mess, my hubby and kids pushed aside and it took over my life.

Thank God I realised what I was doing and made a change in my life - I don't keep any reptiles or furries any more and just have 2 parrots and a fish tank now (like a junkie who has been clean a while!)

It is odd how quickly your animals have increased over the last 12 months or so between the dogs and the skunks alone that is a serious amount of work - then with all the rest it is just not possible to house and care for them all in a normal house with no back garden IMO.

Pouchie and Neil - I do sincerely hope that Emma can sort this out with you both so that you get back what you are owed financially. Pouchie - I know the heartache of losing one of your little ones will not so easily fade

yep! same here! i cry on for a new pet, then he gives in and says yes, but then i sit back and think, can i afford extra vet bills, have i the space for another cage, have i the time for more cleaning? lol

im now resisiting until i get my house! il make do with what i got!

Yes I've now got my pony back off loan so along with John in and out of hospital I've cut down a lot.
Most of mine are small caged pets though.
I do have 4 dogs and 4 cats but the rest are in cages or vivs.
Mind you I'd love to have the room for Heaven the pony to live with us rather in a stable at the local farm!!!
