Lou - As I said, I was passing on what Emma had asked me too because she cant get to a computer, so dont start digging into me about what she has said, hasnt said and has or hasnt done... thats nothing to do with me.

By the sounds of it Emma has far too many animals to cope with .
She was wanting to buy one of my pups a few weeks ago and i`m now glad she didn`t .
I am guessing she is not an animal keeper but an animal buyer needing the buzz of getting a new member of her clan then quickly tiring of anything that doesn`t suit.

By the sounds of it she lacks rationale convincing herself that she can afford things but when push comes to shove just can`t .

I`m positive her intentions are good and lets face it we`ve all made a berk of ourselves saying we will buy something then having to drop out when things don`t work out but she was taken on trust on two counts a) that she would show a duty of care to the skunk and b) that she would cough up the required lucra .

I`m with sparkle on this i don`t think the fact the animal has died??? excuses the payment that is due .

I can`t believe for the life of me that the OP would have passed on a skunk kit knowing there was an infermity and even if there was if she had no way of knowing then in my opinion payment is due sometimes life is just plain tough you have to just swallow it.

It appears that this young animal has met a sad and sorry end due to lack of care .

A sad case all round.

then why bring up up something that pouchie hasnt done.. your reasoning behind that abrassive comment is at the most childish..

thats like me saying to you right now..
dont start calling me a cow.. youd be wondering what the heck I was on about.. its ever so slightly arguementative of you for no reason..

a bit like when you are out at the pub and some idiot says.. 'what are you looking at?'.. when you havent been looking at all.. what is the actual point in statements like this unless its to cause issues.. its hardly avoiding them now is it?
hope you can see this is the type of thing that causes arguements and confusion... and makes a person look petty and bitchy

lets get back on track to the point of the thread.. unless you wish to continue making comments about what people have not to do to you.. when they havent remotely mentioned anything.. now that WOULD be silly wouldnt it?

trust me there are a few people on this forum incredibly guilty of animal hoarding and wanting everything they see.. they think they are in competition with others and simply cant cope with what they have.. they demand more and more animals and think nothing of cramming them all into small houses.. to me its a possible OCD hoarding issue but without the cleanliness aspects...

the thing is its mainly talked about on MSn and Pms.. but most people who have been on the forum a fair while know who they are now... and it would surprise many i suspect

anyway its late.. I do hope this gets sorted out.. sadly i fear its another one of those threads about someone trusting someone else and it falling apart..

i have certainly been put off selling and buying on the forum recently..

no one was having a dig so do not get so defensive, but I was pointing out to you pouchie had asked for information that was promised and that Emma DID actually have according to Emma.

And Emma was online yesterday according to her profile.

Well having read this thread....

Pouchie I agree with the reasons you have posted the thread 100%
I know Emma is in debt to at least 2 other members on here, probably more, having made arrangements to pay for animals in installments.
Some have had a few installments or items that were agreed in payment but have not received all the payment agreed upon.
I am not going to name the members it is upto them to come forward but I would assume did they do so they will have no chance of getting what they are owed.

I would want a PM report as well had this little guy been mine as he should be paid for if he is alive or has died due to accident of injury at his new home.

I have met Emma and I really think she is a nice lass but I do agree with Darwengray in that she is a hoarder and has far too many 'large/bigger' animals to care for adequetely in her home.
I admire her need to help every animal needing a new home but she should really think about herself, her son and her home before taking on any more.

I saw a couple of her dogs and skunks when I was last there and although they appeared well fed etc they were not in the condition they had been in a few months before when I was there.

I must say Emma managed to pay for the animal she got from me but afterall it was only a hamster!!!!

Sorry there are 'some' cleanliness issues as well I'm afraid but as far as I'm concenred if a person likes to live in that manner it's up to them!

When I was there last there was 12 inches of skunk feaces in/on every flat suface.

I'm sorry but it's the honest truth.
This was a number of months ago and in all honesty I hope Emma has had a good spring clean.

thats what I meant.. sorry were in complete agreement i just hadnt expressed myself clearly

OCD collecting of animals.. causes inability to keep them at the correct level of cleanliness, and NO i dont mean a messy home.. before anyone starts.. thats normal as I have 2 kids.. I cannot comment on Emma Js home I have never been there but classic hoarding behaviorus often come with inability to mantain normal cleanliness levels.. sometimes though not always...

does that clear it up ( scuse the pun)

theres no excuse and if it reaches these levels for ANYONE they should self-assess and cut back to what they can genuinely manage , and frankly to pretend you are a good keeper by posting TONS of messages on a forum and being all cool with other keepers does not cut the mustard..

when others visit your home.. report back and others turn into many.. they cant all be lying.. and its not just one person on here that is being discussed about their dirty, over crowded animal husbandry and hoarding behaviours.. its a fair few... each and every one of us interacts with other keepers on here whether its to drop animals off or collect etc.. people discuss behind the scenes excellent keepers.. poor keepers etc..

if you cant keep your animals clean , dont have them
