I am very annoyed about another member of this forum !!!!

Well i am extremely annoyed at this persons lies,i arranged for a courier to collect the pram from her house which she fully agreed to and i paid her into her paypal account £30 , to be told that she won't be in tomorrow to wait for courier, so i asked my friend if she could collect it for me and rachel agreed to this and said she could collect it after 5.30pm, my friend drove for over 1 hour and 30 minutes to pick up this pram , to be told she hadn't received the money, which she clearly has as i have proof of me sending over payment to paypal (rachels paypal account ) ,when my friend gets there rachel says to my friend that its £40 and there was a bag of clothes aswell for the buyer (which we hadn't even said anything about ) , which proves that she has sold them to someone else, i spoke to her on the phone and she said that she hadn't received any money to which she put the phone down on me , now shes saying she received some money but not £30 as it took fees which i didn't realise , and she said she got the money earlier , but to me and my friend she didn't receive any money , so she doesn't even know the truth herself.

So i have sent £30 to rachel , £8 for courier and £10 to my friend for petrol for a pram that i don't even have.

the way that this"seller" has handled things is so wrong.i for one will never want to buy from someone like her.she sold this item and was paid for it but then sold onto someone else allthough it was arranged the item would be collected after 5.30(seller said that was fine)previous poster has lost out on quite a bit of money and its realy not fair.why on earth agree a sale(and be paid for the item
!)then go and sell it elsewhere!!!!! anyone in their right mind knows that a pypal transaction can sometimes take a while to show!!! it dont allwasy mean it will be instant.u are the one thats in the wrong end off..funny how ya wouldnt answer your phone

I have bought things from Rach and she has been a total pleasure to deal with!! She is also a very respected member of this forum, I think this is a personnal thing between you both and has no place on this forum!!

Classifieds chat is for chat relating to the ads placed in the classifieds section of the forum, surely? So the Op has every right to post here.

She has not only paid for goods not recieved, but gone to great lengths and watsed her friends time to collect the item.

i have tried contacting her for her to put the phone down and ignore my calls , i just wanted to warn people as one minute shes not received the money which i sent at 15.57 too which rachel confirmed collection to go ahead at 5.30pm, shes sent me some money back but thats not the point , its the fact i have lost out on other money and my friends time picking it up , shes bang out of order.

in my OP nothing will be gained from this thread, apart from alot of bitching and alot of people jumping on the band wagon, rach is really lovely and im sure there has been a mix up somewhere with comunications.

no theres been no mix up , she was offered £10 more from another lady ( which turns out to be a woman that i know , how spiteful can you get ) so she sold it , even though she knew my friend was on her way and i'd already paid for courier and paid her , she'd already messed me about through the day saying i could arrange courier for tomorrow and then saying she wouldn't be in , even though she agreed to it.

It wasn't a nice way to deal with a transaction, what I have noticed lately is when someone tries to bring these problems to light it always comes back to how many friends the seller has or how well respected they are...it doesn't matter! You were still messed around and did the right thing by trying to sort it privately first. There is nothing wrong with using a classified chat to put your negative experience across.
