i sold my wedding dress two someone one preloved he sent me a cheque and it was a fake so my account has been shut down and all my asset frozen

If I take cheques I always wait until htey clear before I send out the item.

It's a difficult lesson especially when I would imagine your dress was worth quite a bit.
Have you reported the buyer to preloved?
I'm sure they will ban him/her formt he site.

So Sorry to hear of your misfortune its hard to believe some is sat at home and decided to do this to you.
I had a car that a work mate bought off me (you would think that was safe wouldnt you ?) but the shit gave me a rubber cheque, the next day i went and explained and he said it would be sorted.
All along i gave him the car in good faith to use as he didnt have one.
The cheque bounced again TWICE so i had hold of him, he promised to bring in the cash that afternoon.
Little did i know that he left work for good that afternoon with my car !!!!!! me and two work collegues went and found the car and took it back, the good point was that he had it at a friends house who worked on the faults that it had. But the crap and stress that comes with it are
Again im sorry as i can understand the dress means alot to you, try and fight for the money or the dress back.

i only have his email allen_kelvin66@yahoo.de but lucky i still have my dress heres but i really need the cash so am total gutted now and am only the one with a card what can buy online so basicly am scrwed

Why would they shut down your account and freeze your assets just because a cheque bounced...i don't get it?

I wondered this too but It was a fake cheque not a bounced one. I dont know if that makes a difference but the bank may think it is fraud or something

If you are frozen off preloved advertising are you still able to use the forum?

That's not so bad then. I thought you'd sent the dress in good faith.
If you still have itthen you haven't really lost anything it will just be a bit longer before you have money for the sale of the dress.

he told me he was in ireland and his wife has a bridal shop and am in england and yes my bank think its fraud and i have something two do with it thats why my bank account has been shut down and my asset frozen
