Ah - but how big are your nuts at three for £1 ??? -

A 2" diameter hole initially then scoop out the flesh with an old table knife that i have bent to a suitable shape in the vice.
These i use as nesting boxes for forieng finches.

if you cut a 2'' hole in coconut then put it in ur garden for couple of nights it will get fully cleaned out by insects.

Only if the coconut has dried out i would have thought then they may touch it? You can only try it?

Got another 4 last night for 11p with yellow reduced sticks. What is a fair price for one on a rep show stall after i have laboured to scratched the inside and outside, drilled/cut a hole in each half? I was thinking of putting them up for 50p considering they sell the same for about £1.50 in pet shops.
