Exclamation stecollier (a.k.a. fatankles) is a rip off merchant

told me he had a spiny tailed iguana which `according to him` was worth £400 because no where sells them and he said that they are rare. When I recieved it, it was badly burnt (most probably by him!!!) and really nasty. So because he had me believe it was worth sooo much he had me swap him a small viv with heat mat and basking light and 6 BABY BEARDED DRAGONS (which were only a week old and I warned him at the time that they were too young for him to have but he was in a rush to unload the iguana onto me he didnt care!!!) PLUS a jungle x coastal carpet python in a glass viv with hides and heatmat PLUS a 4ft viv with a habistat pulse stat. ALL OF WHICH HE IS NOW RESELLING UNDER THE NEW NICK OF fatankles EVEN THO HIS BEARDIES ARE STILL TOO YOUNG TO SELL (only 4-5 weeks old) SO BUYER BEWARE!!

I then put the spiny tailed iguana up for rehoming (as he stated b4 he had sold it to me he haad tamed it, which was a blatant LIE!!!) and when I did he sent me a pm stating he wanted it back and there was NO WAY ON EARTH I was getting any of my reptiles back so he would of had all my reptiles for nothing as he would of had his original lizard back - HENCE WHY I CALLED HIM A RIP OFF MERCHANT!! He then told me that if I didnt give him the iguana back, he would come to my house with hi friends and take it off me using force!!

Just warning fellow RFUK users about him as he is a nasty character!!!

I also am autistic and suffer with aspergers btw

So the beardies were too young to sell, but you gave them to him anyway?

From what this lad is saying I get the impression he was 'intimidated' by the bloke who came to his house.
Don't jump on him.

He's lost out and is now trying to warn others about this guy.

he might have been but i doubt he knocked on his door and arranged the swap there and then. the deal must have been done online prior.
the OP was willing to swap 1 week old baby beardies even though they were too young.

there's two sides to every story and i'm getting my popcorn ready for this one.

Yes I've read a few threads now and realised that the OP maybe has a few issues so I think I'll back out gracefully and let the people involved sort it.

Still dont' want to see someone with problems being battered though.

I wasn't jumping on him i was making a fair point, he's pointing out the fact that the guy is selling beardies too young yet they are the beardies he swapped at a week old. I've just had a look at his posts and i can see that he was offering these beardies to sell or swap in quite a few threads. Quite frankly i'm shocked at what i've just read and i think his access to the classifieds needs to be taken away.

Martin, I'm sorry to say but you aren't going to win anything by posting on here. I've read through all the posts made by you, Stecollier and Fatankles and you're just as bad as he is!

For one, he stated that the iggy had burns so why the shock when it you got it? Obviously I don't know the extent of the damage but you could have quite easily told him you weren't happy when he brought it to you. He also said in the listing that the burns were caused by the previous owner - maybe this is true, maybe it isn't, but either way you should not be making accusation like 'it was badly burnt (most probably by him!!!)'.

Secondly, you obviously knew the beardies you had were far too young to sell, so why sell them? Any responsible keeper would not sell any animal that is too young, so in fact you've shot yourself in the foot there!

Thirdly, if you'd done any research prior to the 'swop' then you would know that spiny iggy's aren't good as pets due to being very aggressive, so I honestly don't know why you were expecting anything different!

And finally, if you're on disability benefits and really do only own one pair of pants then I suggest that you stop trying to rehome/purchase every expensive lizard that comes up. If the burns on your iggy are as bad as you're making out then he/she needs to see a vet - use your money to sort her out rather than palming her off onto someone else. You obviously wanted her!

Both me and my friend have nearly had dealings with you and I am very thankful that in the end we didn't. Particularly after you wanted to take my gecko on, goodness knows where she would have been now had I let you

I don't know anything about the iggy/beardie situation and I don't care to be honest, but I do have a 14 year old autistic son (with aspergers!) and I know that he would be mortified if he thought he was being treated differently because of his disabilities!!!

Autism and aspergers are not something to hide behind to manipulate things to your favour, there's absolutely no reason why you can't go out, get yourself a job and buy all the animals you want - take a bit of pride in yourself and people will think a hell of a lot more of you for it!!

My son wants to be a policeman and while that may not be possible, it is possible for him to have a job of some sort within the police force and he most certainly won't be sitting on his backside claiming benefits!!!

That may sound harsh, but sometimes things need to be said as they are.... autism isn't a 'sickness' and it doesn't need to be a disablility if you believe in yourself!!

well said, when i first read the OP at first i thought it did sound a bit bad what the other person had done then i read him putting that he was autistic and trying to play the sympathy vote and my view instantly changed.
