Basic long and short of it is that round the donny show time I will have a few hundred pounds to spend. Now on the one hand, I would prefer to "buy british" as it were, but understandably given the current financial situation we are all experiancing want to get the maximum value for my money. On the other hand, no names mentioned but I think we all know there is a major import due a few days later from a well known breeder whom actually has for sale exactly what I want at around 1/2 to 2/3 of the best price I can find over here. I breed my own feeders and have no particular moral objections to offering whatever it takes to get the snake to eat so the whole live-feeding thing is not really an issue for me. With this in mind is it even worth me going to donny?

To be honest it makes a lot more sense to buy from the breeder if they're offering exactly what you want - it's unlikely you're going to get a better deal x

If your after a bargain and not some morph that is super rare then come in just after lunch or at least stick around till then because people usually start knocking down prices and you can get some real gems at bargain prices even beating the imports sometimes. I always think the show is worth a visit.
