Default 50W Aquarium heaters on ebay from HK

Has anyone out there bought any of the mini 50W heaters that are available on ebay from Hong Kong? I ask as I have some newts in an outbuilding and would like to prevent temperature droping too low over the winter months. These heaters claim to be controlable from 16c or 18c which would be ideal as newts dont want anything much higher than that and standard tropical aquairium heaters are pre-set to high a temperature.
The ones listed are at a very favourable price if they are okay.
Any experiences out there with these please?

i have 25w and 50w elite heaters in my small endler and guppy tanks and they go down to 18 degrees, and are very reliable too, why not get one of those instead, rather than risk ebay?

All the 25W heaters i've come across are pre-set at to high a temp for tropical use and normal 50W heaters which are adjustable are too long as i prefer to put heaters in vertically rather than horizontally. The newts are ony in 8" of water and are likely to try and perch on anything horizontal.
These from Hong Kong are supposed to be 'mini' heaters and fully controllable.
So if anyone has used them I would appreciate a thumbs up or down with them.

I have a few 'Hond Kong' fish bits. All work fine - just make sure they are 240v.

Thanks for replies folks.
I did not realise the Elite 25W were adjustable & so short, thought it was just the 50W & higher that were adjustable. Wrong again as usual -
