Advice on website hosting
Hi I am looking to set myself up a website to help sell my surplus stock in my local area. i.e to make sure that when local yokels do a search on the web they latch on to me.
Not done a website before so would appreciate advice and recommendations on keen priced hosting. Also needs to be user friendly and simple to use. I can use most popular computer applications i.e word, powerpoint etc but have little experience with html. Suppose I need a site that idiots can use. Suggestions and advice would be appreciated

go daddy are good but you will still have to write your own website

Oh and you can pay them with paypal as well which suits if you dont have a credit card. They also have alot of software you can use to make your own sites with which is very good if you dont understand HTML.

Evohosting are the ones I use. they have a variety of options, payment via card or paypal. Plus they give you a free domain name (actual domain not a sub-domain).
As for the actual website, there's several people on here who can build you a site for a nominal fee (including me  ). Or if you wanted to build it yourself then theres loads of how-to's but if you want to integrate a sales platform then it can get a bit technical.Ant

Thanks for the advice Buzz. I have signed up for the free 14 days and had a little play with it. Must say it seems fairly user friendly and capble of being operated by IT illiterates.
