I've just queried this issue with the bank and no it's not possible as the account holder will have to authorise it and no you can't set them up to personal accounts as passwords etc are needed, even if one payment did manage to go through to a company the bank would have to pay it back.

reinfold is defintly not a scammer in away shape or form he is a great man with a lovely personalitly, i have done buisness with him and was very pleased with the outcome and was very friendly he offered us a cup of coffee and showed us his reps so please do not put this man down unless you have proof please it is so not fair!

I am not a scammer, (thanks S W for your comment) my 30 positive Itrader score (100%) is visible to all and I was going to pay up front without seeing these snakes in person all be it by a Barclays bank transfer online, so please tell me how i can even loosely be called a scammer.

You might well come across scammers, but if your post refers to Renfield, (Mike), then you could not be further from the truth. This is not in Mike's nature. I have 100% trust in Mike.

You missed out on a good sale there, and more importantly from my point of view, an excellent hard to beat wonderful loving/caring home for your snakes. They would have been in Paradise as captive homes go. .

bank transfer is one of the only three ways I will accept payment nowadays due to real scammers.

people requesting your sort code and account number is standard. Its also cheaper for you in the long run as you do not get stung with PP charges.

This is in no way intended as a witch hunt or a personel attack against someone. The thread was made to warn people to be very careful that's all.

Renfield I realise your a nice bloke and this is not in any way having a pop at you. I had a fella want my FULL details, and yes I admit I didn't like the idea of passing out my account number and sort code.

It is really sad that the amount of real scammers around in general are making people very wary and even sometimes paranoid over buying through the forum.

I for 1 take on board Mike's many great character references and would like to buy something from him now

Personally great feedback ratings over a long period, references from other members you do trust and personal experiances with the other party yourself are the only reasons i would buy through the forum now.
