You asked for our advice, but if you have been "told" by the police to do it in value personally I would go with what they say, it is the police who you will ultimately need to answer to if it goes t#ts up again.

it was not the police who told me to do it on a cash value basis, it was advice given to me from a member of this forum who has many years experience in business.

Like Barry this puts me at a dissadvantage but would only be fair if done in order of date.

Which date would mine go by as hides and rack were ordered separately but would be silly for you to pay for courier twice.

thought all of his equipment and materials were seized by the police pending investigation, if this is so how can vivs be made.

And also you have to add to that list people that want a refund!

The law regarding internet deliveries is that the customer is legally allowed to cancel the order at any time and also is allowed to return it if they are not happy with it.

So legally if you dont want the viv anymore then Chris is obliged to give you a refund.

As my snake needed the viv urgently I have purchased other products. So I will only be satisfied with a refund.
I am sure many of us on here were forced to make alternative arrangements and I dont see why we have to wait for merchandise we no longer need, just to be "fair on Chris'.

If you have already bought a viv in the time you were waiting then Chris is obliged to refund your money.

I want to be on the list for a refund. I dont care when I get it, but I will pursue you until I do!

I agree orders should be produced on a date basis regardless of money spent, be it £5 or £5000.
