you can also use a website to realy screw them over if they have scammed cash from you.

Paypal can only take money and put the balance into negative for an eBay purchase.

For non eBay purchases the money can only be recovered if the seller has funds avaliable in their account

well im still waiting on paypal to sort this it sayes waiting for the seller to respond they said they have to respond by the 16th and its n ow the 17th and still saying the same thing , wot a joke paypal is they make so much out of there fees and when someone gets scammed they do jack about it , they get £100,s each year in fees from me with my business but they still dont help u out when there is these problems going on

If you have no luck from PayPal and paid via a card, there is still the chance you maybe able to get the money back via your card issuer.

This is not avaliable through all but some will do it up to, I think, 160 days so maybe worth a go.

If you are able to do this PayPal are not able to refuse a chargeback from card issuer, so the money will be returned and they will then chase the seller, via debt collectors, to get this money back
