I don't think it's a good idea.
I know it would be nice to have a 'Hall of Shame' but people could get black listed just because of a simple mistake. I always use the iTrader feedback and chat to the seller/buyer to get a feel before I part with my money. I have not been let down so far. ![]() Offer to pay by cheque and ask for the name and address. Then just change your mind and go for another agreed payment. ![]() I'm sure if a person is legit they wouldn't mind you asking a few questions, what have they got to hide at the end of the day? |

My personal opinion is that not all situations are identical and who then decides that some people deserve to be contained within the hall of shame?
People who have been proven (as in we the mods, are party to sufficient evidence) to be serious scammers are banned from the classifieds section so... ![]() The onus is on the buyer to research the seller as far as possible, you can search the forums for that persons name, you can search their name or email address on google to ensure there are no topics discussing them anywhere else on the net and we provide the iTrader system to help buyers decide if a purchase is a risk.

I know Bugnation has a blacklist sub-forum where people are free to post.
I think as long as the accused can post and correct the situation if it is a misunderstanding, it would be ok. Mods could PM those blacklisted to make them aware of it.
