Default bit of advice

First off, I'm not going to 'name and shame' or give any specific details but here's the info:

I remember reading some threads similar, I've bought snake some time ago that's never eaten for me. I was told its origin but vets tests have proved otherwise. I've had to pay out on vets bills for a few problems the snake has had for approx 2 years now (I bought the snake 3 months ago) which by any means wasn't cheap along with travelling over an hr to get there. I've got to take the snake back for more treatment so more cost & I'm wondering where I stand with the seller as he's sold me an ill snake as healthy.

I'm not looking to 'claim' off him etc but if the snake dies (which there is a possibility I'm told from the vets) or the bills become stupidly expensive beyond my means of paying for it then I would be looking to seek some of the money from the seller to cover the costs.

Just wanted some advice on where I stand

Thanks all

Its probably a case of "buyer beware". However, you could always possibly approach the seller, as you have details etc from you vet of the problems, and see if they would be at all willing to contribute something towards the bills etc.

Whilst I'm sorry to hear about your situation, the above quoted passage interests me. What evidence has the vet given for a difference in origin to what was expected/ suggested?

Kind regards,

Andy

The snake has embedded parasites that are only found in wild caught snakes as they are from the foods (in this case from frogs and such) and other surroundings , I have been informed of this by a snake expert & the exotics vet now
