iTrader Information

The classified section now uses the iTrader system to rate buyers and sellers.

Information about the system:

• When leaving feedback, you will need to confirm the thread the sale took place in and will need to leave comments regarding the sale.
• The system will check that one of the people involved with the feedback was the thread starter.
• There are other checks and flags raised with suspicious activity and the mods are alerted automatically.
• If you are caught defrauding the system you will be banned from the Classifieds section indefinitely and in severe cases banned from the forums as well.
• You can report feedback with you feel is incorrect, however, we will only remove negative feedback if we know you have been given it in error.
• You can view your own iTrader by using the Quick Links drop down in the top navbar.
• Do not leave bad feedback before you have tried to resolve the situation, and are 100% sure that you need to.

Please make posts in this thread if you have any queries/problems... I will update this FAQ with any issues that arise.

Why can you only leave feedback for two people a day? I have recently sold to three buyers but the third will have to wait for feedback.

Was it 3 in one day? the setting is currently set at two a day, although obviously if this will be a problem the limit will be raised.

This is a really good idea. I just hope it doesn't get abused as I am really cautious about buying and selling and always make sure they sound genuine before I give out my details.

I think its a great idea. My only thought or concern is if someone was to say sell 100 DVDs at £1 each or whatever to all different people on here then they would have 100 sales and 100% rating but with no relevance to reptiles whatsoever. In this way it could give a false impression of what to expect from peoples animals.

Hmm... you could have a point I suppose, it can always be removed from the off topic classifieds.

Anyone else have opinions on it?

Yeah a very valid point ... i agree with Herp/pet sales only plus related equipment.
