Custom reptile shoes...would you be interested?

Just a bit of market research really, i've been making custom clothes and art for a while, just for myself and friends and recently i've started making custom shoes and i'm really happy with how theyre turning out. I use either canvas baseball boots (like Conversehigh tops) or the lower canvas trainers (like Green Flashes or converse low tops) and use photographs that i take and turn into transfers and apply to them. I'm also experimenting with using paints and dyes, and sew-on appliques to add to the design. I havent got any pics but i hope you can imagine the kind of thing i mean.

Shoes with photos and drawings on are very 'in' at the moment, almost all of the trainers in schuh have things on! so i was wondering if people would be interested?

What i want to know is....
a) do you think it'd be cool to have a custom made shoe designed with your own reptiles/pets/ photos on? Ideas ive had so far include snakes coiling up round the ankle, a lizard could either crawl along the base of the sole or climb up the shoe, just examples.
b) would you be interested in purchasing such a shoe? perhaps for xmas? you would get the shoe in your size, amd have personal consultation till you were happy with the design, and options to add-on extras like sew-ons, colour coded laces and insoles etc.
c) how much would you be willing to spend on it? in schuh, office and other shops i go in most trainers with cool designs are around £40-50 but what would a custom made one be worth to you?

Just thought it;d be a wicked present esp for the reptile-crazy other half or your kid!!

great idea... but id ont wear canvas showes/trainers...

another idea maby embossed leather... duno if you can do that....

but liek the lacoste croc... but our reps embossed into leather would be cool
duno how much id pay... but around the price u said is awsom

Good point, something i'll look into, only issue with that is the durability of the image on the leather, as canvas is alot more porous so easier to apply things on, thats why i started using those. i'll definatly look into that though!

i actually bought uggs years back with lizards on them and i love them, they're knackered now but i still wear them so i'd definantly be interested. will try find a pic of them for you.

those are wicked! i've actually been considering trying out some ugg type boots but was unsure about how that sheepskin type material would accept the transfer/paint etc. do you know what kind of paint they use?
