Cats needing new homes asap . . .Birmingham

A friend of a friend has three cats she desperately needs to rehome, due to having a new baby the cats have been contained in one room and she feels it's unfair on them to keep them contained any longer.

The details I have are . . . .


2 ginger ones need to go together as they're brothers and have been together all their lives.

The other one Vikki thinks will be best if no other pets as he's attacked one of the others recently.

Colours & Ages:

Black & White Tabby-like - 2/3yrs old

Ginger & White - 6/7yrs old
Pure Ginger - 6/7yrs old

They are all neutered and they have always been house cats.

I hate seeing this. We have 9 cats when I had my daughter aswell as 7 dogs! We never once had an issue or problem. And not talking little dogs either. We worked on the old basis of never leave a baby and pet alone. So Alex spent most of her time carried round and we had respectful pets who were not shunned because of a new baby. They all saw the children as being an extension of their 'parent' pack.

I would never have gotten rid of my dogs and cats because I had kids. But then when both my children were born I had a litter of pups 2 days before one and 2 days after the 2nd. My midwife thought I was wonder woman as I still kept a clean house and did the washing!!

Baring in mind I also suffer FMS.

The thing is I don't want to post all the details on a public forum as it's not really anyone else's business with what goes on within a family BUT what I did want was a home for these cats and for them not to be confined any longer.

This isn't the ladies first child so please don't think it's a case of baby in cats out, they have been much loved pets.

I agree with you and I could not get rid of my dogs because a baby joined the household BUT sometimes these things happen and this being a pet loving forum I thought it was a good place to find these cats a great home

What are they doing to the baby? What is the real reason for rehoming animals which have been well loved babies until a real baby came along?
I may be interested in the 2 boys but need to know more before I offer a home.
