Yeah capricorn still open but they sold the last few earlier this year, just missed out as usual.

Its possibly cos they aint really in high demend due to the specialist care and requirments they need.............not to mention how big they get and how naughty and destructive they can be too

Yeah i agree with that already got a couple. But so are other reptiles, exotics, etc but they seem to be quite common.

i have researched into raccoons but opted for skunks as they were the better option with my housing arrangements an other animals

I just think they are an animal you have to be very dedicated to and not be faint hearted too, to own

alot of the other reptiles are fairly easy in comparrison to raccoons to care for and house

i thin for most people its the housing requirements they need too

plus i think them not being popular is a good thing as most people that go out an impulse buy cos somethings cute cant just buy one

they are a very strong an strong willed animals and should only be owned by people prepared to do their research an know what they need in every aspect of thier life
