Stafford Show is not worth attending if looking for a pet bird - they are not supposed to sell them at the shows due to needing pet shop license to do so. However you do get the odd one there........BUT I would not expect one in your price range unless its a rehome.

The price you metion will get you something like a conure or Senegal parrot - as a newly hand reared & fully weaned pet. African greys average £500 as babys & Timnehs are a little cheaper but not much.

mentioning conures, i had a blue crowned conure and they ar amazing animals and wonderful pets.. although they can be VERY noisey birds.. so its best u know taht rather than hateing the bird for it in yrs to come.. but there fantastic birds!!!

thanks i just want a parrot thats tame and can be tought to talk ive seen some senegals for sale around £120 to £180 and ive been looking at some hahns macaws too
