So is he KC registered then? If he is you should be able to get his paperwork buy contacting the breeder or the KC.

If he isnt KC reg he isnt pedigree.

They dont have to have anything to do with the Kennel Club to be a purebreed.

many people choose not to register with the KC. just because its not KC registered doesnt mean he isnt pedigree.

no he's not kc registered he's just a rare dog and me and my bf think it would be nice too breed him. his parents were dad white and mum black and tan he came from a litter of 8 4 black and tan and for white. it don't matter if he is breed with a black and tan shepard there is still a chance of producing white puppies

just to set the record straight, if you breed a dog that is not kc reg, you will not be able to register the puppies, if its a pedigree then it will not be recognised as being one

also white german shepherds are not rare, they are actually very common.

not to sound like im having a go or anything, but please think again about breeding him.
theres a lot of german shepherds in rescues around the country and theres a lot that are put to sleep because stupid owners have let them get out of control or encouraged aggression.
my german shepherd came from a rescue and there is precious few people that are willing to take on a big dog, especially ones with problems.
My GSD has nervous problems and 2 years on she still doesnt have the confidence of a dog that hasnt been beaten and abused.

if you breed your dog are you aware of the likelyhood of the pups ending up in rehoming centers?

dont know what hip score is he had full health check when younger so guessing has not got other thing he had a limp as a pup and we couldnt get the bottom of it vets did full health check and turn out to be panostiosis a condition common in breeds, is basically growing pains where the bones grow so quickly they dont grow at the correct denesity and is a common conidtion in big breed dogs

hip and elbow scores can be done once the dog is over 12 months old, it involves having x-rays taken and then getting a BMA vet to look at them and scoring them
