Eh...I think you need to do your research first. Ferrets don't have "breeds", they have species, sub-species and colours. One colour I have seen on this thread already is Husky - there is no such thing as a Husky ferret, all the ones I have seen labelled as Husky have been silver roans.

I agree that some colours/varieties are not recognised but with the pics we can all see what we are getting.
Husky was used years ago for a particularly marked silver...I remember when they were known as 'siberian silvers' many years ago when I first had silvers.

I'm having a choc siamese which I've never heard of but I'm prepared to have her anyway.
It seems these guys are very well cared for and I'm more than happy to travel to get them.

Even though I've had to put it off twice now due to family matters...
Thank you Shelley for keeping my girls for me.

Can't wait for the 11th August when I get them. I have my travelodge booked so come hell or high water I'm getting there this time.

the choc siamese are what I sell as chocolate polecats, polecats in a chocolate brown colour! Although the choco poley I kept from a litter I had 2 years ago now has a silver bum and a brown head, wonder what colour I could call them? lol

That's what I thought it would be.
I've got a little boy here who I just rescued. I could swear he is choc rather than polecat I'll have to start him and his two friends a thread of their own.

They are super huge at only 8 weeks...they weigh 1lb 3ozs for the jill and 1lb 6ozs for the hob whereas my tiny one is still only just 12ozs at nearly 7 months now.

I have a choco jill who isnt very polecat, doesnt have a mask etc is just chocolate all over with a mitted foot and some white on the insides of her legs. All of mine are big in size, dont see many smaller sized ferrets around here

Are you ever up near Manchester?

Do you have any pictures of some of the piper's? A mixture of photos showing all the different markings would be good. I intend to get one but dont know which colours to opt for as of yet, theyre all so cute! And the names you're giving to the markings dont mean much to me. I only know Sable, DEW etc.
