Baby DUMBO rats in KENT

This week I have had 6 female rats arrive with me heavily pregnant, 2 have littered and I expect at least another 2 to litter today - hopefully that will be it!

If you're in the Kent area and would like some lovely little dumbo ratties please get in touch I would like to re-home them in same sex pairs (or more) they will be very well handled and I will post pictures as soon as possible.

Donations highly appreciated (but not mandatory) and will go towards the rescue - all homes will be checked to ensure suitability (for your benefit and the babies)

Have you tried the Fancy rat forum Naomi?

All the people on there are dedicated to rescueing ratties in these situations

thanks for that yes I have tried on there and they won't let me "advertise" them for various reasons which I can't go into on a public forum but basically it's got to do with where I work!

That sucks that they brought your personal life into it instead of putting the rats welfare first

that's exactly what I thought - and told them it really isn't the rats faults where they came from poor little things, also not MY fault as I'm trying to do my best for them.

anyway I will invest in 2 big cages and split them up into boy/girl groups in 3/4 weeks time and just re-home them when I can, should give me enough time to get them nice and tame anyway

I already hav a pair of young girls about 6 months old, so i am thinking of poss another pair of girlies to hopefully put in wiv them.
But then i have been tempted by a couple of boys instead to go in a seperate cage. hmmm

When would they be ready to go to new homes?
