Default Can anyone help?

Hi,

Ive got a few rats and one of them had go stuck under a rock. My fella found her at 3pm and unknown how long she has been there.

The problem is that her eye has come out of the socket and is now a 1 eyed rattie. I no the vet would be a good idea but it is not hanging out and it looks like it has healed slightly. They other thing is she is very quiet and is laying still and has been all day. She isnt drinking or eating as we are not sure if she has done something to her teeth.

I am very worried as she was so nice.
Ive no idea what to do, will she get better? is it just shock?
I dont want to have her put down if i know that she will get better.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Larissa. xx

I would have thought a visit to the vet as a matter of urgency

The vet is a matter of urgency.
The poor thing has been in agony for hours regardless of whether it has healed up a bit or not.
If you knew the vet would be a good idea why on earth didn't you go?

I will be going to the vet in the morning anyway, i was posting this to see if there was anything i could do to comfort her tonight, not to get people saying i don't care. Thanks for the 'constructive' answers.

Sorry but there is nothing really you can do with regards to pain relief. Although she should have been taken to the vet as soon as you found out even if it meant an emergency appointment.

Ideally she should be taken now.
