jet black german shepherd puppies longhaired

we have 3 huge fat chunky long/medium hair german shepherd puppies . they are jet black and both parents are jet black . the parents are both k.c. registered but we havnt registered the puppies. beautiful dogs. £350 to good homes.

Could the pups be KC registered if I wanted a pup to be?

i think so but it would take a while. the reason is this - dad i bred but mum i didnt and i never transfered the papers into my name - so i would have to do that and then apply for the pups to be registered. i think its possible but would take time. i bring new meaning to the word disorganised ! pups are beautiful though !

Are there any restricitions on the stud dog????
You woul difnd them on the bottom right hand side of the KC papers I beleive..unless that's changed over the years.

It would if you didn't breed him his breeder may well have put restrictions on his papers. You can own whatever dog you want but if the original breeders put restrictions on the pa[ers you acnnot go against them unless you have the breed tests required or fulfill any other requirements by the breeder to uplift the restrictions.
i.e: restrictions as to his progeny being registered, not being able to export etc!!!

Then his progeny can't be registered anyway.

I think, at the price you are asking, you should just state there will be no KC registration no matter what in this case. Also that the pups should not be bred from and sold as pets only.

KC puppy reg application can go in along with transfer of ownership for the dam takes not longer than regular litter registrations.

Did you breed or buy in the stud dog as normally endorsements are put on by the breeder or whoever owns the dog at the time of endorsement application?

Have you got hip and elbow results for both parents?
Are they both black's?

edited to read : both parents are black . dad is by a dreamcoat dog which i owned . dad is kc registered. he himself is not hip scored. we have never had any problems . he is straight backed. mum is german bred. she is kc registered. she herself is not hip scored. she is also straight backed. PUPPIES ARE NOT KC REGISTERED. THEY ARE JUST BEAUTIFUL PETS. i think £350 is a fair price . they will be taken to the vets and checked over and given their first jab.
