I make my own rodent mixes up and due to the amount of different components, not everyone can make such a varied mix as it isnt viable if you only have a small number of rodents. Because I have so many Pouched Rats & other rodents its worth it for me to make as they eat it quick enough so I am offering it for sale incase anyone else wants to take advantage of it. It has insects, plant matter and you can have extra herbage included for £1 so all you have to give in addition to this mix is any fresh food your species requires. I do one for any rodent which is a forage mix containing lots of variety, a rat mix containing a complete rat food, same for gerbil/jird and a special African Pygmy Dormouse one.

Is the rat mix a complete mix, as it looks pretty high in seeds and protein? What are the %s?

Looks very nice as a treat, but is a bit too pricey for me for every day (considering 15kg of my homemade mix costs about £15).

Hi - no it 'contains' a complete rat mix but has a big variety of additional stuff to improve the variety given in commercial food.

I can't do anything about the price because it is for the postage plus about 1-50 toward the mix itself.

It is incredibly good value considering whats in it.

Hi Pouchie,

Just to say I got my mix for my Syrian hammie and he just loves it, PLUS I got my Duprasi yesterday and half the bowl was gone by this morning, so I would give it the up for Duprasi too.
