Default DWA mentor, Cornwall?

im 18 years old, obviously not wanting to get a DWA yet, but im really keen to learn about the ways of behaving with the animals, handling techniques etc. I know I am young to be wanting to learn this kind of thing, but I'm really serious and dedicated to the hobby.

If there is anyone is Cornwall that wouldn't mind me observing them, or even better teaching me things that would be great.

Thanks, Jade x

Hi Jade

I am far from an expert but you are welcome to come down and see how I do things. Will talk to you about it later.

Always wondered how people made the step up from wanting a DWA animal to actually getting one. Without experience how would you learn to handle and not get bit.
From a inquisitive point of view, I would love to see one up close being handled in front of me, with me at a good distance away LOL. Anyone got any in wirral???? hee hee

Handling is not something many do without good reason.

I never "handle' mine as such....

i get ya, why put yourself at risk if you don't need to.

might be a stupid dumbass question but do DWA snakes move about any more than the usual "pet" snakes. Are they a better visual snake?

It's the classification we have put on them because they are harmful to us, some of them have very very quick strikes but are slow as s**t along the ground and will just sit there waiting for some poor thing to stroll on by.
