It's just purposely harming the animal.
No point in it. Bah!

This is proof venomoids aren't always so venomless!

im new to the whole dwa thing so excuse me if this seems like a stupid question but what is a venomoid?

im guessing its something that shouldnt have venom, is it some kind of surgery or venom gland extraction or something?

Its a Venomous snake that has had its Venom Glands Removed...

But from this video, you can see not the whole gland has been removed, therefore still the snake having venom

Scary

Very scary, especially for when country's that practice it and give them out to the unsuspecting public who thinks they are safe.

As far as I am aware, there are two ways of doing the procedure, three if you count an incomplete removal of the venom gland, there used to be a czeq vet who could do it properly, and one shop in the uk which sold these snakes over the last 10 or so years. But he has died and now theres lots of venomoids where the history is a bit dubious, i have heard of countless american cases of a venomoid producing venom, by the way the other method is to tie the tubes which would transport venom, but like when its done to testicles sometimes it doesent work.

that sounds very dodgy, I guess you should always be just as careful with an apparent "venomoid"
