Default how difficult...

...is it to keep russell's vipers and eyelash vipers ? i dont plan on getting one inside the next 5-10 years but i thought there's no harm in finding out so like do they have very spesific requirments ? are they overly aggresive ? i only ask because if i was gonna get into DWA's in my later life (i'm only 15) i would only want to keep these 2 beautifull animals. also would like to see pics of anyone who keeps these

cheers

From what I've heard, Eyelash Vipers are an easy snake to keep, and a relative good first DWA snake. Russels are agressvie, big and shouldn't be dealt with until you've had a lot of experience with DWA. One slip up with them and you'd be in hospital for a long time if you were lucky not to be killed by it.

I'm also 15 and would like to get into keeping venomous. You have to really think hardly about it first because its not an overnight hobby, and you have to confident with the animals and Ok with the consequences of a bite.

Hope this helps.

B schlegelli can be difficult to keep, they require reasonably high humidity, but good ventilation, if aquired a neonates, they can be tricky to get feeding and assist feeding these is an ordeal in it's own right, ask slippery42 on here!

D russelli.............from my (very) limited experience.............mental, unpredictable, nervy and very quick
