I work with a guy thats sworn to someone else i work with that he has a DWA licence. He comes across as abit of a liar and i just wanted to see if you all agree he's talking out of his bumhole.
He's just moved house (in the last few weeks), don't you have to have a secure room and enclosures and inspections on all of it to have your licence? So if he's just moved he couldn't possibly still have his licence?
And even if he keeps his snakes at his previous residence, as he no longer lives there he wouldn't be the main keeper of the snakes so his licence wouldn't be valid any longer?
Cheers,

He may well have had a license for his previous residence, however the license doesn't transfer from one house to another. he would have to have another licensing officer's inspection to assess the suitability of his new room. It may be that his LA has given him some leeway with regard to the moving in order for him to get his new room set up. It would be a bit harsh if he had to get rid of his animals just because he was moving house. Although i know of one or two folks that have had to rehome their collection temporarily whilst they moved house.
