Default Are there any Laticauda colubrina in private collections?

Can anyone shed any light on a debate I have going with a friend.

Are these kept or capable of being kept in a private collection? Or for that matter any of the other members of the Hydrophidae family.

I guess technically, if you could get them you could keep them, I would imagine that they are not very easy at all to keep in a collection, they do have them at some of the public aquariums though, so I guess its not impossible, dont know of anyone personally that keeps them here.

This was my train of thought.

I'd imagine the cost alone of a large heated aquatic setup would put off most potential keepers. At a guess this would also make hooking next to impossible, unless you could somehow figure out how to include a lock box or section off a secure area of the tank.
