the first one is exceptionally accomodating, its still a Bothrops but if you wouldnt know better you could get complacent very quickly. it was captured as a neonate and has spent its whole life in captivity, it is happy being hookhandled, feeds like a bloody black tail, and is exceptionally calm when taking it out to photograph. the lower one on the other hand is mental. proper bothrops stuff. aggressive, tries getting up the hook - ideally want to use a grab with it, and generally does whatever it can within its abilities to get to you. it is however a stunning snake, very crisp patterning!
